At the age of 27 I suffered from debilitating hip pain that left me in a wheelchair. In an effort to treat my symptoms I consulted over 20 healthcare professionals. I literally did it all: surgeries, MRI’s, multiple doctors, injections and painkillers. After undergoing an invasive hip surgery as a last resort attempt to fix the problem, I was devastated when I was still in chronic pain and unable to walk.

After being introduced to Posture Alignment Therapy through the Egoscue Method®, a therapeutic exercise technique that treats the underlying cause of pain by correcting posture alignment, I began following the program every single day. Over the course of roughly three years, I went from not being able to walk, to being able to participate in surfing, running, lifting weights and doing all of the activities that I love. I have been wheelchair free for years, and continue to do Posture Alignment Therapy on a daily basis to keep myself healthy. I am now trained as a Posture Alignment Specialist through the Egoscue University®, and my clients have had unprecedented breakthroughs in pain relief, as well as other unexpected improvements in overall health, respiratory health, weight loss, and increased fitness levels.

I have witnessed, with myself as well as with my clients, that the human body has the ability to heal itself. It is my joy and passion to give others the opportunity to discover this for themselves.

Now for the education spiel…I have over 13 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Prior to practicing as a Posture Alignment Specialist, I helped countless clients achieve their health and fitness goals while working as a Certified Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. I currently hold the following certifications: Posture Alignment Specialist through Egoscue University®, Symmetry Core-Level 2 Provider, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, and Level 1 CrossFit Trainer. I have also completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician, and I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California San Diego (UCSD) in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry.
